hot choc. chip pie (easy)

Can I get your recipe for the hot choc. chip pie? I love your easy recipes!

Its actually from this website.

http://www.imamother.com/forum.....p+pie

I made DefyGravity's recipe. The first time it was really good. The second time the middle was a bit mushy. I think there is even a simpler one on that thread.

I love this recipe - so easy and delicious.

NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Chocolate Chip Pie

see larger photo

The sweet, creamy richness of a brown sugar base makes this chocolate chip pie a perfect foil for chopped nuts and whipped or ice cream. Serve with strong coffee or tea.

Estimated Times:
Preparation - 15 min | Cooking - 55 min | Cooling Time - 15 min cooling | Yields - 8
Ingredients:
1 unbaked 9-inch (4-cup volume) deep-dish pie shell * (I use a chocolate pie shell)
2 large eggs
1/2 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
1 cup (6 oz.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
1 cup chopped nuts
Sweetened whipped cream or ice cream (optional)

Directions:
PREHEAT oven to 325° F.

BEAT eggs in large mixer bowl on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in morsels and nuts. Spoon into pie shell.

BAKE for 55 to 60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with whipped cream, if desired.
NOTES:
* If using frozen pie shell, use deep-dish style, thawed completely. Bake on baking sheet; increase baking time slightly.

If you want easy you can also try this:

Mix one whip with 10 - 15 choc sandwich cookies crushed - mix with spoon. Pour in graham cracker pie crust. Freeze. Tastes just like cookie and cream ice cream.

turkey roulades with apricot sauce
mushroom rice
green beans in sesame vinaigrette
Yerushalmi kugel (or maybe not; I need to decide if it's overkill)

cholent
kishke

gefilte fish
egg salad
chatzilim in mayonnaise
chickpea salad
hearts of palm salad
cold cut platter
compote

I'm missing a starch for the daytime meal. Think anyone will notice?

I just noticed that there seems to be a lot of green beans on the Shabbos menus here this week. Rice too. LOL

So far I have:
fish
coleslaw
potato salad
pasta salad

soup and kneidlach

small cholent

banana choc-chip cake
watermelon

We're sick of chicken and kugels. The only thing I can think of eating is frank-n-blanks and potato/mushroom knishes. If I go shopping, it'll happen. If not, we'll just decide last minute what else we feel like eating.

Why don't you go for light and easy bulgur salad (taboule), cold bean salad, cold pasta salad etc. You can even eat the leftovers during the week!
