We want to buy a cheap high chair to keep at my parents house. Any suggestions? Best would be one that folds.

graco contempo or fisher price healthy care are probably your best bets. or take a look at the fp space saver.

the legs come off, it doesn't need to fold.
after you take the legs off you end up with just the seat part and four poles.

Oh, and it is super easy to clean.
You can buy a tray that clips onto the front.
I have two of these in my kitchen!

Not at all, pinky. I leave them standing in the kitchen and only dismantle when I need to - about once every two months or so. They are both used every day, for most meals.

This is the one we have, for my granddaughter:
http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0000.....it-20
Its great, because when they're not here, it goes back into the relatively small box, otherwise its on a chair and she can sit up at the table with us, or use the tray and eat separately.

I got a really cheap one at Target about a year (?) ago. I just looked at the website and I didn't see it, but it was around $40 and I haven't had any problems with it. There's also the option of a booster chair, which might work well if they want to put it away when you're not there.

We have the same one for my daughter, and it's really a great booster seat. We bought it for pesach last year, and we've been using it since then, instead of a high chair. It was inexpensive, it's still in great condition after a year of use, and we can easily take it with us when we travel.

I got mine at Toys R Us. It was a display model of a discontinued one so really cheap. Check out your local store and ask them if they have any they want to get rid of. Worth a shot

we do too!
and my mother and MIL both have variations of it as well for all the grandchildren (B"H both have more than one of these seats!)
I think its the best invention ever. The chair fits at the table (when you take the baby tray off), can easily be cleaned, and if you need another chair, you can take it off.
plus, its cheaper than a "full" chair!

If it's for all the grandchildren I wouldn't get something cheap.

We have this one for ds when he wanted out of his highchair, my mother has it for her grandchildren, and my brother has it as his main highchair. Its great. And its really portable. When we go to a bar mitzvah I can fit it in the basket under my carriage and the baby can sit there instead of my lap. The back folds down. Its not really compact but it doesn't take up a lot of space when not used.
