My husband ate at his Rabbi's sukkah one day of chol hamoed and liked this salad so much he made sure to get me the recipe before he left. Very simple, and "guy friendly" because of the deli. I find that the flavor of the dressing really compliments the deli.
Different kinds of lettuce (it's hard to find a variety in Israel right now, but in America they have so many different interesting leaves and colors)
Croutons
Deli cut into strips (we tried it with turkey, corned beef, roast beef, and a mixture)
Dressing:
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup vinegar
1/4 sugar
teaspoon of mustard
teaspoon of honey
mix.
Yummy!

Basic chef's salad... good for an appetizer during the summer. I'll often do grilled chicken breast cut up with a similar dressing and have that as a meal.
