another thing bothering me about this day....
I feel nervous and apprehensive about Yom Kippur., on a spiritual level.
my mind starts reeling with thoughts like , what if I'm not good enough, didn't try hard enough, won't be judged well.. etc etc.

it drives me crazy and makes me so agitated.
then I'm jumpy and irritable for what seems like no good reason.

I need some thought that will make me look forward to this day.
can anyone tell me anything inspirational that will help me relieve my anxiety.

thinking of it as "judgment day"... just isn't exactly making me smile..

the fact is its the judgement day, and that alone scares u but telling ureself that ull try to be good from now on and do tshuvah and with tefilla and tzedaka alot of things change and hashem favors u for a good year... it certainly is a day to have a talk with hahsme and ask for a good year!
keep in mind that its a day to be used to daven so just use it on that and not spend it on complaining..

I hope this makes sense
and gmar chasima tova and an easy fast!

I want to be able to look forward to it, instead of thinking of it as a day to "get through".

you wanna get a good year, so u need to think that in order to get it u need to daven and fast and all the rest...

why are u thinking that its soemthign u need to GET THRU?
think of it as one day in the year u have a connection to hashem to ask all u want for, istn that a day u shud be looking forward to?
