That the more you spend on something, the better it is?
Basically the idea of you get what you pay for

It depends what it is, money does not automatically equal quality
I typically get what I pay for though

Depends what. There’s dresses in frum stores for $200 made out of polyester that you could find at Nordstrom rack for $40.
With beauty treatments like Botox or lash lifts, I think the higher end places have better trained aestheticians and ambiance.
Can you find cheap stuff that’s awesome or better? Sure but you need to know something specific otherwise it’s a risk. I’d risk it on clothes not in my face.

Depends. Spending $600 on a dress just because it has a brand name, definitely not better.
Spending more money on a dress for better fabric or a nicer cut? Yes, you get something better.

No. I got a cotton sweater for 11 on temu that's gorgeous and wearing amazing. Got a local top for the same child for 56 that's pimpled and just ugh.
I have this many times over. I definitely don't believe in buying European brand names. Some might be better quality but not worth the huge price tag

Sometimes. But not when it comes to clothing. The expensive frum brands are not any better than non jewish brands like old navy or cat & jack.
I was gifted an expensive layette set which is all piled and faded after a few washes, yet $5 cloud island pajamas I can pass down to the next baby.

Not sure aboit fashion necessarily. But yes, in general, I prefer to pay more for quality than be karg and get a product that reflects its cheap price.
I do not consider it a splurge because to me quality is necessary.

It’s often true, but only to a certain extent. Often my more expensive makeup is higher quality. Designer shoes and bags are higher quality. But at a certain point there is extra markup for name only.
