Past 2 weeks my 2.5 yr old (rlly almost 3) has been refusing to sleep in her crib. She only wants to sleep in our beds
Tonight I decided to offer her to sleep on the floor in her room and I’ll make her a “bed”
And she happily agreed and helped me set it up
This is my oldest
Does this mean she’s ready for a toddler bed? No more crib
I know her Morah also said she refuses to nap in pack and play and even climbs out of it

I never had a 3 year old in a crib. You should definitely try toddler bed.

By the time they are climbing out it means it's time for a bed.
Usually that happens well before 3.
I never got toddler beds, they just went straight into normal beds with one of those gates you stick in to stop them rolling off in their sleep. What's the point? And then you need to buy bigger beds as they get older?

My son was 16 months when he started refusing his crib. I just put his mattress on the floor and he LOVED it.
He only came out the first few days when I firmly put him back and he got used to the freedom and slept really well after.
At 3 he was in a regular bed already.
