No, it's still chanukah today. We don't pack away the menorah yet.

BTW how do you clean those blackened glass oil cups?
Or do you just throw them away?

I put them in a bowl, in the sink. Pour loads of washing up liquid over them, and a couple of kids menorah's. And I boil the kettle about 6 times to get all the walls wax etc off of everything. Then I put the glass things and silver things in the dishwasher.

Oven degreaser. Spray and cover in plastic bag. Wash the day after.

I already put the cups to soak. And the kids menoras already has the wax cleaned off since lady night. But it's still out and visible. I don't want to let it go just yet.

My husband put his away too. My som washed the oil off his this morning and the boys both burned the remaining oil and wicks that they cleared out every day.
Now only the glass boxes need to be cleaned and put away.

What? You only start cooking on Friday morning? That's very late. If anything I heard it's special to start in advance. Like to make challas on Sunday is a good thing because you're looking forward and anticipating Shabbos.

I work Friday mornings. Impossible to start on Friday morning , especially on these short Fridays. In winter where I live , Shabbos comes in at 3.30!
