The whisk/ ami had a sourdough bread with candle burning made out of butter.
Anyone know of a kosher certified food safe wick?

They wrote kosher hemp wicks. Did they mean that all hemp wicks are kosher?

They did but it doesn't mention anywhere on the listing that it's kosher. I'm not sure what ami meant.

My guess is it’s one of those things that some rabbanim would say doesn’t need a hechsher so ask your rav.. or maybe there’s a hechsher on the package and it just doesn’t show on the link

Of course it needs a hechsher! The wicks are coated in wax which is melting directly into your food...

I meant there are certain items that many people hold don’t need a hechsher, for example sugar. Like if it’s 100% a specific ingredient.

I'm sorry but those looked so unappetizing. Know your crowd before you spend hours making them. I'd be horrified to eat that even though I know there's no candle wax.
