I just went on to H&M on my phone to innocently search for kids clothes in one of my fave stores. There is literally videos of women in lingerie, including a video of 2 woman in lingerie hugging and groping each other! On the home page. I'm horrified. This is a new low.

This is in teens bec I generally would let my pretty sheltered daughter search these type of stores for sweater tops and hoodies. And in fact she's in need now and I almost suggested it. I'm not happy about it, but obviously she does see very not tznius images browsing stores online or in the mall, that's life. But this is a completely new level low. Even for myself this is not something I want to be seeing when innocently buying baby clothing!!

I just went to look at their site and saw no such thing. Are you sure you didnt in fact get a pop up from something else?

In the US there are ladies all over each other on the front page. It’s not lingerie more like a slip dress and some other skimpy clothing but they are feeling each other up. Looks like it’s supposed to be a lesbian couple.

It's a clip, video of them actually dancing/hugging in lingerie. It's pretty off putting but I'll still shop there. Although I'm not sure I'd want my teen daughter on it.

Ew, yeah, that's really inappropriate. Thanks for the warning. Maybe you can bookmark the link to the section your daughter would shop in and have her click it so she can search from there, bypassing the homepage? I almost never go to the homepage because I am usually going straight to the baby/kids section and I've never seen anything like that on those pages.

Wow thanks for the heads up. My 18 year old son shops on H&M! Not really sure what I can even do about that, just glad he’s in Israel for the year and usually doesn’t have access to the internet.

I just saw it. how sickening. welcome to the world.
30 years ago when I got married the world was a very different place, and my mom said the same about when she got married versus the time I got married.
I have started to think that we should all become satmar chassidim, live in KJ, have no internet, and shelter ourselves and our chldren. Chassidim have the right idea.

ETA yes I realize not all chasidim have no internet, but for those who do ...

There is usually contact info available at the bottom of the website.

I took some pics of the video for anyone who wants to know what it is. So the video is worse it’s a few different scenes of women with hands all over their bodies some more s-xual than others. Hard to get it as the video played.
