I just found two containers of fresh chicken soup that I made for Erev Yom Kippur toward the back of my fridge. I think it cooked for 24 hours from Wednesday to Thursday. Can I freeze it now or should I dump it?
If it makes a difference, it was pretty rich and flavorful and has a thin layer of fat on top.

Soup lasts one week in fridge if you made it on Friday should still be good to freeze.

If you're not sure if it's still good, taste it! It's not frozen yet.

Rule for food: taste it. Smell it. If it smells and tastes OK keep it.

I wouldn't save it. I don't use soup past day 5, which would be today. Better safe than sorry.
