My kids love the plays on https://www.yiddishplays.com/
Does anyone know when these are preformed live? is is Chol Hamoed Sukos? How does one go about purchasing tickets?

Yes it’s on chmd, not sure if pesach or sukkas. There are two production companies that do Yiddish plays, one does pesach and one does sukkas. The tickets sell out pretty fast, so I suggest you be in the lookout. They’re usually advertised, I believe.

There will be an ibern play on Sukkos. I don’t know if the tickets will be sold to the public or it’s only for HCS consumers. I’ll try to be on the lookout for you and update if I see ticket sales.

There will be a play called "ibern shtetl". According to the chassidish play lovers' rumor mill they will perform 5 times. 3 productions will be sold to the public.

OP I hope you know tickets are VERY expensive and sell out within minutes.
My family just resorts to watching it after because its hardly worth the money and stress.
Sometimes they have livestreams at a different location for girls but its not announced on the main add.

I also wouldn't send a 7 year old unaccompanied.

Gosh, only saw this now, all the cheaper tickets are sold out, only can tickets for $135 and up. For my DH and 2 boys, that's $405 total Can't Believe It

It’s possible they blacked out the cheaper seats so don’t feel bad about that part. These things are expensive. It might be worth waiting for the dvd.

They never black out cheaper tickets. Everything goes live at the same time and the only blocked off tickets are the ones reserved for the hotline which is new this year. There are also 3 shows for the public this year, and potentially a 4th if the 3 sell out, so there are way more tickets available than there were on pesach.
