Hi,
My DD in 3rd grade is finally doing well with reading and I need to buy more books to keep her reading level!
Can anyone help me with book ideas I can get on amazon?
I see Flat Stanley and Junee B Jones. are those totally appropriate? we are very yeshivish (lakewood) and I was never able to read non jewish books growing up so I never read these before but I remember lots of my friends had them in their houses...
any other good ideas? I need pretty low level since she gets overwhelmed from books with regular chapters like with tons of small works on a page. I already have a bunch of random level 3 and level 4 books (step into reading) in my house but need more.
thank you!

Ask your daughter's school for a list of suggested reading.
I read Junie B Jones growing up. it's not inappropriate or unkosher, but her middos aren't something I want my kids to read.
The Lakewood branch library has a frum librarian during the day who can help you find kosher options.

Do you have the Menucha Fuchs books in your house?
You can get them on Amazon, though they might be cheaper in a Jewish store in Lakewood.
Many of them are for that age.
The Flat Stanley books I have in my house are appropriate, I did not read all of them
I never had an issue with the "Nate the Great books
I have never read any Junee B Jones books so I can not tell you what is in them.

I would stay away from Junie B Jones as the other poster said.
Flat Stanley -- there are two series, the original and the one where he travels the world. The original books were all fine, I think. The world ones had a couple of questionable things in them.
Has she read any books that she likes? That could help us get the right level/content for her.
For example, Owl Diaries and Unicorn Diaries are great books. Lots of illustrations, large print in short spurts across the page. They are all clean and display good middos. (They are about talking animals and magic, fyi, in case that's something you're not comfortable with.)
Books with more text per page and less illustrations: Cam Jansen or Magic Tree House.

I second Owl Diaries for a newly minted chapter books reader. Also Sophie Mouse. A slight level up would be the Magic Treehouse series
