My first and my twin are exactly 17 months apart. (They were full term bh.)
It took a few days for him to get used to them. At first he didn’t want to look at them. But bh now at 3&almost 2 they play like all
Siblings.

I always dreamed of twins and I’m so happy I got them.

Wishing you all the best, it should be a safe and full pregnancy!

It was a shock to us as well, BH we survived 😁

Twins are like getting a two-for-one deal on life. I'd totally take that offer again!

DH is now convinced we're having twins every time I'm expecting. We're actually looking forward to it.

One day I'll surprise him😉

I am 9 weeks along BH! But just feel like there's so much to worry about and I'm so overwhelmed.
Financially how are we gonna make it work? Physically will everything be healthy and carrying to term?
I feel sad for my 18 month old like he's going to lose us in some way.
Don't get me wrong I am so beyond grateful. I'm just really scared.

You have 9 months to prepare and plan and do research. Your older child will have 2 best friends instead of 1. Look into a night nurse once they are born. Nothing like a good night of sleep

Your 18 month old will be a two year old toddler when his siblings arrive. He'll play totty for a while🙂

I can't assume anything about your financial or family situation, but I observed that my parents and older relatives were more generous when I had twins than with my other children. Some even offered more practical help, like helping with dinner, etc.

Regardless, Hashem provides.

My son is a year older than my twins
The twins slept in a bassinet
We hired live ins who didn’t speak English
Then we had help only on sundays
Family didn’t help
When they were a few years old things were easier
Growing up the twins were are each others best friends
All kids got along
