Disagree I had my sons by the bris twice, both times they were the center of attention and loved it. There was plenty of grandparents, aints and uncles helping take care of them

I don't agree with this but I do agree that it will be easier if he's at regular playgroup. Otherwise make sure someone will be taking care of him - not you or husband and feeding him real food or he'll just eat all the cookies.
Any outfit is fine. Regular shabbos outfit. Don't overthink it.
Take your family photo BEFORE the bris begins, when everyone is still clean and smiling.

Thanks. He isn't in playgroup yet. He is still home with me most days. I have a babysitter here and there for when I have work meetings as I work from home but he isn't in playgroup. I never went to a bris where the younger siblings weren't there so this is new to hear that he shouldn't be there. Yes it would Def be easier if he wasn't because he is very active and needs attention but my family will be there and he loves them so I imagine he'd be busy with them/ running around.

I don't think they mean he's not allowed at the bris. Rather that it's generally pretty hard for the new mom at the bris both physically & emotionally. Having her toddler to worry about is added unnecessary stress. If you have the occasional babysitter this is a great time to use her.

Have never see siblings of the new baby not at the bris. It's a family Simcha! Which circles is this?
She can designate any family member to look after him. I'm sure they would be more than happy to!
Imagine having all the little cousins over and new big brother us nowhere to be found

I've never seen Shabbos clothes at a bris. White shirt for the boys, otherwise siblings and adults wear better everyday outfits.
Chassidish circles

Why not? I never heard of a child not being by their siblings’ bris.
Even a few people who I know who had a 22 month old boy and 11 month old boy at the third boys bris. (No girls)

Because he’s two, he doesn’t understand anything, and his mother is a week postpartum.

If you have this situation, did you ever have your toddler by their bris?
