I want to burn out my seemingly clean oven which is used for fleishigs.
Do I need to clean it out before?
Do I need to self clean? Or is highest number ok?
For an hour?

I did today on the highest temp for 45 minutes. And make sure to bake something pareve before you do milchig, bec burning out alone is not enough. But I guess ask your LOR

Clean out any actual food remnants.
Then broil or highest temp for an hour

Wait 24 hours after cooking meat. Make sure oven is clean. Set oven to 550 and allow to run for one hour.

Ty for your replies.
When I look into my oven it looks clean. Do I have to clean it to make sure it's completely spotless?

From rabbi in Lakewood-how to kasher an oven
Put on 450-500 for 45 minutes
If the last thing cooked was covered milchig or covered fleishig or anything parve you can use for milchigs or fleishigs without burning out
No need to be more machmir then the rabbanim-this is halacha

Watch out when broiling so long. Depending on where the controls are, one can fry the controls.
