I’ve been washing my own sheitels. I live out of town and there’s really no one here to do it. I’m struggling to find a way to keep the style for more than a day, I come home from a day of teaching, and my curls have completely fallen. I’m not playing with it, I’m not running around, not sure what products it should be using? Can anyone recommend, a hairspray or something to help me keep my style for longer?

I've heard that braiding the wig in small braids while wet and leaving it in overnight will result in tight crimps. Which might last longer than curls
But don't take my word for it, never tried it myself

This doesn't last long either. Maybe if you spray it with something it will last longer but I never tried

I hate using sticky sprays so what I do is use velcro rollers on the bottom of the wig overnight to give it some bounce. Works like a charm.

No hairspray will help with that. Ask a reliable corsetiere to find you a good supportive bra.

What type of wig do you have? Not all wigs hold a style well. If you’re using a curling iron spray each curl individually while it’s on the iron before you release it

I use this
It has a strong hold but doesn’t leave the wig feeling crunchy

I find that foam rollers, left in for a few days, really help hold the curl longer. However, it means not wearing the sheital for those days.
