1) sorry for TMI but when there is a BM that sticks to the toilet inside, how do you clean that? If I put the brush right on it brush will get so gross. How do I get the poop off before attempting to brush it clean?

2) how do I mop the floor when it reeks of pee and I know that there is pee collected on the floor? I don’t want just mop it up because it will make the mop gross (I can wash it at the end of the day, but I still need it for that day)

I would use paper towels for both of those... Wear gloves if you need to and use a wet paper towel or wipe to get anything stuck off and toss in garbage. For the pee I'd sop up with that first and mop after if I didn't want to use too many.

I scrub with the toilet brush, and then put it in the water while I flush to wash off the particles

Pee - BLEACH, with an open window. then leave and close the bathroom door for 20 minutes until the smell dissipates. Then mop up

Thanks for responding,
I find that no matter how much I try to wash off the toilet brush there are still pieces stuck.

I don’t use bleach in my house, is there anything else equivalent?

Have a separate mop for the bathroom

Use a separate mop for bathroom no rest of house

Or use rag for bathroom

Use paper towel for initial clean around the toilet

I use a disposable toilet brush called Clorox toilet wand. The stick is reusable but you never have to touch it and the sponge is disposable and comes with soap on it.

I buy big packs of refills and don't have cleaning help so it doesn't seem expensive to me

That sounds like a lot of poo. You'll probably need a glove and a scrubby then. Future tip: train your kids to scrub the toilet after every #2, and you won't have large stuck -on pieces

There is no replacement for bleach. It chemically reacts with the pee to neutralize it, which is amazing for things like toilet seat hinges. However, it also creates mustard gas while it reacts, which is why you shouldn't breathe it in.

Hatzlacha!

pour a washing cup of hot water or two into the toilet over the parts that are stuck . always works for me

It’s right after the poo. One child especially. It’s very sticky and often sticks to the toilet. So if they’d scrubbed right after the brush would be gross.

I take a wet tissue and put it onto the dirty spot, leave it there a few minutes to soften the poop. TMI with a glove obviously. I then wipe it off with the tissue before using the brush.
I use a swiffer mop with a rag on it, different one for each room.

Thanks, I’ve tried the tissue, but it was too much to take off. The poo is not dry it’s just stuck.

Swiffer mop is nice does it actually pick up the wetness also?

I don’t buy the swiffer refills, I just use my own rags on it.
You can use a dry rag to mop up the wetness and then switch to a clean one for actual mopping.

Best, cheapest, and disgusting solution put on a glove and wipe it off with a papertowel or fresh wipe. Then invert everything by pulling the glove off inside out. Dispose.

For actual pee/poop use disposable stuff, paper towel or wipe that can be tossed its too disgusting otherwise

an intersting tip I learned, most toilet seats can be unscrewed fairly easily to clean,

you dont want to know what going on in those hinges Hiding

How do you clean the rag after? Or just toss?
