Some need snacks lunch and hot coffee. Some want nothing but a glass of water. Some want bus fare and have a set price per transportation per person

Every time I see a thread on this topic I shake my head in confusion. I am several stops on the train from BP, and my nabe is a solid $25-30 per hour.
How do the cleaning ladies not know this?

Whoa!
I'm in Monsey and don't pay more than $15. In fact I still pay $13 for one. It's really our own fault. We get desperate then offer them a huge sum, they get smarter and begin asking it from everyone. We need to stop upping the price, even if you can afford it. Think about others. Otherwise we'll be paying them $50 an hour in just a couple of years from now!
