Considering getting a Costco membership but its a far drive and I want to know if they always stock kosher chicken and how much is it per pound.

Chicken would be the main reason I'd go for because everything else I assume I can get comparable prices in Walmart or Aldi

Chicken is the one thing I don’t buy so I can’t answer that, but prices on a lot of things are better than other stores. I get very well priced kosher cheeses, salami, sausages, milk, eggs, dips, flour, tuna, cream cheese, canned/bottled drinks, a lot of other random things

I also got a membership to buy chicken there and after a couple times I realized the chicken leg and chicken breast quality was really not fresh. It really wasn't worth the cheaper price. I don't know if everyone has that experience though

I've found it to be fresh, you just have to check the pack date, not the best buy date.

I agree with this. I want so much to like their chicken but there is something about it - can't put my finger on what exactly that I just don't like the taste. I like the regular chicken thighs sold in gourmet glatt or evergreen much more. Not sure what they do different. Also the chicken boilers (whole chickens) were totally inedible. I tried making them a couple of different ways and no one in our family would touch them.

The salmon is great though - and that alone is worth the cheaper price.
