My baby is currently 9.5 months old and will be starting with a nanny in September.

Right now, she eats every 3-4 hours and I'm adding in solids as well. She'll be at the nanny from 9-2, which is 5 hours, but I'm wondering if I can get away without pumping and having her just on solids for that time.

Is that possible? I hate pumping! Will she be hungry? What kind of food would I send with her other than applesauce, etc.?

I do have a few bags of frozen milk just in case.

At 10 months you can easily nurse at 9, have them eat lunch 11:30/12, and nurse at 2. Just make sure she has something to drink with lunch- it could be water or formula, or ask your Dr if you can start 1 sippy of cow's milk at that age.
Lunch should be real food- the kind of lunch you would eat, in smaller quantities. So maybe beans, shredded cheese, some fruit. Or a sandwich cut in small pieces. Or pasta.
