Any apples work. It's absolutely better than the regular apple recipe.

This is something that I've always thought about.
It looks yum, and I actually might make it. but she calls it "healthy" and notes that it uses maple syrup, but then she also uses brown sugar and butter.
While it might be lighter or less sugary than other recipes I'm still confused about the "healthy" part of it.
I've made the stuffed apples from kosher by design short on time if I want something a little "lighter"
