Can anyone recommend a hotel/motel in corning? Is it safe to get there late at night?
We'd like to stop there on the way to Niagara to break up the drive. I looked through all the old threads but didn't find anything

I stayed in the Hilton in Corning (also on the way to Niagara) and it was very nice

I stayed around a half hour away from there at Hotel Laurel at Seneca lake.
It’s more of a Motel and is not the newest but it’s right off the lake so it has a super cool view.
You can see photos online and see if this is something that would work for you
