How do I block certain sites on a laptop, or disable the whole laptop, so that I can't access it too close to bedtime? TMI

Where are you using? Because many of them have extensions that will block websites either in whole or in part and you can set the times and then it just requires a PIN if it's allowed.

I use Microsoft family safety for my kids. I put in the amount of time they can have on the computer per a day (I do more on weekends less during the week), and what time they need to be off by (so it shuts off half hr before their bedtime). You can also put a limit for the amount of time they use a specific app or browser for.

Maybe that could work for you? You could set someone else up as the administrator so you don't have the password so can't get around it...

I have not actually looked at it and tried it myself, but this looks like a really good extension. You click it. You click the get button, download it, set it up. Hopefully it'll help.

No problem if that one doesn't work for you. Browse the Microsoft extensions or whatever.
