I got beck from seminary a better dd

Dd was good to begin with but she came back more medakdek in Davening and benching more mature less spoiled about food etc. and less entitled and more appreciative of our home and me:)

Lucky you!! Somehow I got back a daughter that doesn't daven or wear stockings anymore b/c they were taught you don't have to do more than Halacha.

Your experience might be more common because dd was always kind of more into her friends than us. She came back more respectful and appreciative of us but still into her social life more than us.

They can't get it right for everyone all the time.

If they come back frummer, it's 'she needs to get down to earth before shidduchim'.

OR

'She flipped out, so many chumrahs, we feel looked upon'.

SO

She 'lands' and then it's 'why did we spend so much money on 'the year' she's no different then before she went'.

Don't really know what I'm talking about, my girls went to local Seminaries. Just some musings from what I've seen on here.
