I use my Cuisinart or vitamix hand blender. Both work amazing. Takes a min or 2 longer but when it's done it's perfect.

Vitamix hand blenders are pretty expensive.
Is it worth the price?

They don't make the exact model/set I have but this is the closest option and the price is right
Ninja QB900B Master Prep Food Processor Blender with 48 oz Pitcher & 16 oz Chopping Bowl, Perfect for Frozen Blending & Chopping, 400 Watts, Dishwasher Safe, Countertop, Grey https://a.co/d/00t3vrEv

I love how it's never going to leak, it's easy to wash safely since the blade isn't attached... You do have to hold it down the whole time but it doesn't take long to crush frozen items. My kids make smoothies and iced coffee all the time in it. I used it to make my cheesecake for shavuos as well...

For the thickest smoothies available, with the least amount of liquid, all fruit and no ice, the Vitamix or blendtec blenders are best.

But any old blender can make a smoothie. Just the quality that differs.

My kids make it! They make a strong coffee, add in milk and ice, vanilla extract but imitation so it won't be alcoholic, and probably too much sugar...I don't really know measurements since I don't do it.

I have a vitamix. It is so so good. I got it on sale on black Friday. It was expensive but I think it was worth it. I use it every do often and it makes the creamiest blended ice coffees and smoothies. I also use it for pancake or waffle batter, crepe/blintz batter, cheese cake, rough chopping veggies.

This wasn't aimed at me but I make a mean ice coffee. Like it rivals the frappes stores sell.

I use about 2 cups of ice
Instant coffee and sugar to your taste
Milk to cover the ice
Flavored syrups if you want caramel, mint, etc
Vanilla extract makes it even better

The key trick is using a pinch or approximately 1/8 tsp of xanthan gum. It is a binding/thickening agent and prevents the ice coffee from separating. It stays blended rather than all the chopped ice floating to the top.

I blend it all up, adding ingredients to taste. Drizzle syrup in a clear cup and add whipped cream on top and you have got yourself an amazing frappe.

Absolutely! Cuisinart is great but doesn't compare to the vitamix. Vitamix is a bit heavy but it's a good machine.
