My son took lessons on https://www.virtu.academy/ during and after covid.
You can pick your teacher, you choose your schedule (once a week, twice a month, etc). You can buy packages of lessons, that comes out a bit cheaper.
We only stopped because he got into learning during beis medresh and has little time to practice or have lessons (nor a way to have lessons now in yeshiva).

Yup. He loved it. The teacher could tell if he was holding it wrong or using the bow wrong. It's live zoom lessons. They can see how you play, help you tune, etc.
I will say he taught himself to read the music and basic playing (with lots of mistakes).
