For those of you working in South Florida schools, where do you work and do you feel appreciated?
If you are a big school and department makes all the difference, please note. that.
Taking notes as I try figure out a plan of where I want to apply for next year.
Please post the grade you teach, other job if relevant, rough salary or hrly wage and experience working there. All anon is fine

I worked in a few schools here I won't post where because like the previous poster said you would be able to connect the dots and know who I am.
Your best bet is to go to the schools and feel them out and to talk to teachers that work there.
From my experience every school has there hard parts you need to choose what you can deal with lol 🤣

Why not big enough?
Even without saying grade you teach?
Some schools are really big and have lots of staff. Some are smaller.

We all know the who teaches in the schools. Even if I don't work or send my kids to that school I still know nearly 90% of the teachers.
It is different in an oot community. We all know each other for the most part. Or at least know of each other.

There are many schools.. honestly I only know the ppl who work where I do and there are so many departments that I really dont know everyone throughout. Do not know people who work at other schools aside a few from 1 which is not in my area at all.
