Does anyone here work as a Project Manager?
According to google, the average salary for a Project Manager in New York is $96,895.
Is that accurate?
I am looking into this and wondering if anyone does it and what your background is?

What type of project manager? Many different types and industries. Real estate, construction, software, office, etc?

If you want to go after the good $, generally you need to be PMP certified, which requires not only sitting for the exam and passing it, but being eligible for that through learning credits and practice. (That doesn't mean you have to work with the title "project manager" but you have to be performing PMBOK work and be able to describe that and have references for it I believe)

"Project Manager" is a very generic term. Depends on profession, field, experience etc.
What I've also found is that there is no real defined salary for a specific job, it all depends on the market.
