Ayayay

I was tired, and instead of putting in the usual pinch, I accidentally dropped in like 3 tablespoons of salt into the chicken soup!

It's maybe 10 liters by the time it is done cooking.

Is there any way to save it?

Cut the potato, or whole?

I’d cut in half but not sure. Did this years ago. Maybe some other cooks here can chime in🙂

Put in a whole peeled potato and remove after 30 minutes so it doesn't fully cook and ruin the rest of the soup.

Or noodles and more water.
Or vinegar.

Acidic things like vinegar just reduce the saltiness. I've heard lemon juice does this too. I guess it balances the flavor.

Just add water. But also, chicken soup needs a ton of salt, I can’t imagine even 3 tablespoons is enough!
