I don't know the story bothered me.
If my son picks fights with those around him all the time to the point that he can't hold a job. I wouldn't let him get married!
Ok I get it they thought he grew up and then it was too late. But if my daughter in law wanted out. And I knew it's because of the way my son treats her I would fully support her.

I thought he was enabling him.

If the nephew would hit rock bottom, he would have a change to attend therapy and turn his life around.

His marriage would not suddenly work out just because of the finances improving.

He needs a whole lot more help than that.

I also feel so bad for the wife!
It's for sure not easy having an angry husband.

I thought he would say that if he goes to therapy to work on his issues he’ll give him a job. That would make more sense
