It's hard to believe that the problem is to the extent he says it is, but he's not the only person.
5 years ago I went to a class where the speaker said that a certain frum therapist (don't know if he wants him name mentioned) did a study of kids at risk and 80%  were molested.

I would venture a guess that 80% were either molested or otherwise abused, whether at home or at school.
