How would you incorporate into a Shabbos meal? Do you serve it for the night meal or the day meal? How do you keep it warm without overcooking? Seems more delicate. I do not have a plata only a crockpot or oven. Recipes please? Thanks

Our chicken soup is tofu. It does not dry out. You just need to drain and dry it before using it for the soup. We sometimes do borsht with tofu as well.
We do not use tofu in the cholent and our cholent is more of a vegetarian chili.
You can serve chilled tofu - I dont know what flavors appeal to you but there are several Asian salads centered around chilled tofu.

I went to a family in Israel for Shabbos years ago who made salad dressing with tofu instead of mayo. It was really yummy! I remember asking for the recipe but I must have lost it along the way.

I’ve never made this for Shabbos but I’ve made it during the week and it would work well for Shabbos. Keep the broth warm and the tofu at room temp and then serve together. The tofu tastes really “fleishig” and hearty.
