Sounds like your freezer is not cold enough. I t should freeze,even if it is a bit icy (from the water)
I stopped making parev icecream with raw eggs though a while back bcs of the salmonellla danger.

did it freeze yet?!?!?! after 24 hours just curious ... you could use it like a whip over cake ... should be good ...
