Is anyone familiar with the institutional sized gefilte fish rolls?

I need to make a number of them for my grandson's bar mitzvah.

I would like to bake them in the oven. I usually bake a regular roll in a loaf pan (or 2-3 in a 9x13 pan) with a little water covered for around 2 hours.

First of all, will 3 of the institutional ones fit in a full sized steam pan?

And, how long would you bake them for (as described above) to be sure they are not mushy in the middle?

TIA

Do you mean the rolls that are the same width but are longer? I bake them for about two hours. I usually make two at a time but I think three will fit. You can check with regular rolls since you are checking the width which is the same.

Thanks, I know that 3 will fit the width. It is the length I wanted to know about. Do you think 2 hours is long enough?

Honestly I don't eat gefilte fish. But I've been cooking these rolls for two hours since I started using them over two years ago and my husband and the guests eat them, so I assume they are cooked enough Smile

you can definitely fit 3 rolls in the pan. and 2 hours is perfectly fine too. I do it this way all the time.
Just remember that or some reason the carrots dont cook in the oven-I usually cook them separately in a pot and I heard some people microwave them.
