Easiest way to cook salmon - pour Mikee's teriyaki sauce over it and bake on 375 for about 20-25 minutes (when you can put a fork in it, and the pieces easily separate, it's ready). It's delish!

if you have the spice and spirit reciope the salmon steaks recipe is really yummy. You fry onion carrots and rasins in a frying pan for about 5 minutes. then add some whole peppercorns (just use pepper if you don;t have these) and sugar and cook another minute. then add the salmon and sprinkle on some lemon. cover and leave to cook on low for 20 minutes.

you do need a big enough frying pan or pans for all the salmon you need.

if you are making a large amount just bake it in the oven for 20-25 minutes. sprinkle with crushed garlic and lemon.

1/4 tspn ginger
1/2 c teriyaki sauce
1/2 c honey
2 tspns oil
1 tspn garlic powder

Marinade fish for about 3-4 hrs in a storage bag. Bake for about 25-30 minutes on 350-375 or until fish is brown by the edges. Whoever ate it loved it even kids....

If you choose to marinate the fish, you should only do it for half an hour. After 30 mins, the acids in the marinade will change the texture of the fish. See here: http://www.fishingloft.com/mar......html

"It doesn't take very long to marinate fish, as it should be brief. It only requires 15-20 minutes, 30 minutes max. Some richer flesh of fish such as salmon can marinate up to an hour. The idea is to allow the fish to infuse with a specific flavor, giving it a little edge, without over-marinating it. It depends on the strength of the marinade, the size and type of fish, and what the fish recipes call for, to determine if you need to marinate it for much longer. Fish is far more sensitive than meat, so you want to be sure not to over-marinade it. Leave it too long, then the acids will begin to chemically cook the fish, causing it to become mushy, like a ceviche. So the extra time doesn't help the flavoring process."
