Wow, scb, you're a busy lady! We're just having guests Friday night, but one is on a very restricted diet and I would like to impress the other one with nice food, which is a bit contradictory. Oh well.
whole wheat or white challah
lightly marinated salmon with tartar sauce
chicken soup with lukshen/maybe kneidlach
duck sauce chicken or soup chicken
whole grain penne with vegetable sauce
apple kugel
green beans in sesame vinaigrette
vinigret salad
chickpea salad
orange-pineapple cream
tea and mocha bundt cake
Shabbos day, the regular.

Sauteed sesame zucchini strips
| How do you make this? |
sorry, just saw this.
I slice the zucchini into strips, and sautee it lightly in either sesame oil with sesame seeds on top (if I want it mild), or you can use teriyaki to make it more flavorful. I'm experimenting still with it, but so far it's been a hit all ways and is great served cold also.
