can someone invite me over please? I don't want to make shabbos this week.
I promise to only bring wine... my kids are adorable and really well behaved...I like to help and don't mind washing dishes/cleaning... my dh has never left the toilet seat up in all our married life... I'll eat anything and my dh and kids don't eat much... I don't care if we sleep in the cold, on the floor, with no lock on the door and seforim all over...Pleeeeeeeeeease? Mr. Green

Well, since I haven't received any invites (and someone called my Dh last night and asked if he could stay for shabbos and Dh so kindly told him yes Twisted Evil) and it's already Thursday morning here, I suppose I better get working.

Homemade Challah

marinated mushroom salad
curried couscous salad
tasty peanut butter salad

soup
matzah balls

chicken of some sort
green beans with almonds

spicy roast potatoes

cholent
sesame chicken noodles

No idea what to make for desserts. I'm incredibly tired. Sad

Pink tichel - tell you what: I will invite you if you invite me. I am really finished, worked now two weeks with Shabbos my only day off and every day exhausting. I have a relatively big, complicated class (sp ed) this year, not enough staff, a new director and evrything is a balagan... I nearly cried today from frustration and being overwhelmed. So that's the kvetching.
Since we are going nowhere for Shabbos Sad , I think I am taking as much as possible out of the freezer.

Fri night:
WW challah (bought)
gefilte fish
techina (from freezer)
babganoush (freezer)
chrain (bought)
some other dip (bought)
veg salad (made)
chicken soup with lukshen (freezer)
croutons, soup nut,(bought)
duck sauce chicken (freezer)
lukshen kugel (freezer)
vegetable ???
compote (made) or ice cream (bought)

Shabbos day:
gef fish
above dips and salads
cholent
kishka (freezer)
potato kugel (freezer)
dessert as above

We are having 7 guys Friday night. I'm not in the mood and feel on the verge of collapse. The baby is not even a month old yet and I'm working 3 jobs at the moment. I just want to sleep, I'm a zombie.

Chicken Soup
Salad (Deli Salad? Taco Salad?)
Roast
Scalloped Potatoes
Breaded Chicken
Sweet Potato Pie
White Chocolate Chip Brownies

Shabbos Day we will have whatever is left over from Friday night.

OMG Mrs. K!!!!
Why on earth are you having guests when you're not even 1 month after birth???
I would be embarrassed to be a guest by somebody who just gave birth!!!
I hope they help set, serve and clear the table!!!! Tell them I said so!!!!
