Dairy/Parve--it's really hard for me as I seem to be the rare minority with 6hour waiting vs standard 3hrs here. I'm usually dark choc person--though I love dairy Swiss chocolate truffles--torino and camille bloch from switzerland is always our favourite in our household pesach time. But someone told me that dark choc has more sugar than the dairy ones to counter the bitterness... I actually made an investment a few years ago and got an icecream maker--with separate units for dairy and parve, can make your own CY glida. Absolutely agree parve icecream is not worth it, with the sole exception of Swedish Glace and cuties sandwiches. Has anyone looked at the ingredients for pesachdik parve icecream--water, sugar, palm kernel oil... YUK!
Damyel--yes, we do get them here, for about a few years now, but much more expensive considering £/€ rates. One of our guests for the holidays brought a tablet with hazelnut crunchies--delicious!
Bendicks (on LBD list) has incredible dark-choc covered cyrstalised gingers. I'm salivating now right before lunchtime...

Because of the crack-down on force fed geese for foie gras, finding goose has become very difficult.
I don't like either duck or goose, so I'm not missing it

mrs bissli the dark ginger chocolates have had their lbd hechsher taken off them bec of shared machinery with milky machinery. the only ones that have the hecsher left are the round mint ones I think.

I still have vintage stocks (though getting depleted VERY quickly).
Interestingly if you check the LBD website they still have it as parve albeit without hechsher.

oh thats interesting. although I know the reason they took it off is bc of shared machinery.

Mrs Bissli lol I was under the impression my 3 hours were the exception!!
I was born with 6 hours... still (for chocolate davka, not chocolate cookies or something) I preferred waiting...
