Oh I like it.

I do it all the time. It's gross but it gets the job done without contaminating any reusable items. I even clean my hands with soap afterwards just in case.

Forgot to mention you can do the toilet and the floor with lysol wipes like that you know the germs are killed.

I find if you pour a washing cup right away it often dislodges the stuck stuff. However it really may depend on the stickiness.

If you always have poop sitting there it’s likely because of the shape of ur toilet. They make toilets very dumb these days

Not always, just when a particular family member who has sticky poops uses the facilities.

Use toilet bowl cleaner with brush, it helps clean toilet and the brush. If not maybe use the disposable brushes just for this member.
For the floor Lysol/Clorox wipes are the best- I use them to wipe seats and floor daily.

Use a disposable toilet brush and a swiffer mop, with disposable pads.

Dunno the age of the family member, but if they are old enough to take care of it immediately that is best. I personally have this issue sometimes and have found that to make it much easier and less gross. As in, if after I flush there is still poop in the toilet, I take some more toilet paper and wipe it directly, then push the tp right up to the water line. then by the next flush it's all gone. Immediately wash hands, like you would anyhow since you just used the bathroom.
Obviously if it's a young child this may not be a good solution.
