first of all my parents showed my siblings and I how to do our own wash when we were each about 10 or 11 years old. I know that by the time I was 13 or so I had my own bsket in my room and when it was full I did my pad, that way, I never had to wait till my pareants did laundry, when I needed it done, I did it and BH it was a great thing that my parents showed me.
as to where do we do the laundry? we have an extra bed also in the tv room, so we usually let it get to be up to three loads and then my husband and I fold while watching something (it goes faster we think;>)

yes my kids can help put away some folded laundry.but when space is a premuim. and u dont have to much drawers space. then I like to put it where I know I can find it. and then when I need the clothing the next day I can find it one two three.
and no my kids do not have the time to fold laundery they are under 7 yrs old.
and no I donthave time for it. I get up around 7 and go to bed at midnight. should I add in 2 hrs of folding to my work load. no thanks.
