I've made this recipe before, and it is delicious!! Personally, though, I don't like putting the chocolate chips in - the contrast between the soft mousse and the rock-hard, frozen chocolate chips just doesn't work for me. Maybe next time I'll melt the chocolate and swirl it into the mousse...

Ok, I know what I'm making for shabbos dessert now! Wink

I also don't like whole chocolate chips in Ice creams, so I pulse the chips in the food processor for a minute to get little chocolate slivers. We love it that way.

do you beat the whip before or just beat whatever recipe calls for together?

I have made this recipe at least twice - no whipping the whip. Just defrosting and mixing with the other ingredients.

I use my own crust but if you use a premade one, remember they are very shallow.

Made this for Shabbos. It was...ok. Not bad. But isn't going and I have a second pie. I might let the filling thaw and add some whipped whip, or use it as a layer in something else.

I bought a jar of natural peanut butter, and I keep on looking at it and thinking of that pie that sounds so so delicious!!!!
No way I'm making it, though! I know I will be the one eating it from beginning to end....

I was just looking through my saved recipes, and found this. It looks so yum, and is so simple, I want to try it this Shabbos. Does anyone have a recipe for home-made graham pie crust?

Do you have graham cracker crumbs?
You could also use a flattened chocolate chip cookie dough.

Made this for Shabbos last week, and found it was extremely rich. This was with whipping up the whip. The taste was delicious, but too rich.
