Everything is money. You can say this about every caring therapist and every passionate Rabbi you respect too! Rabbi YY Jacobson or whoever you look up to charges money to speak and write too and So does anyone writing a book. You people are so bittter you make no sense

How can you call me bitter if you don't even know me? Of course everything is money but some people I inherently respect for who they are. And some people have proven themselves to be more than money. I don't feel that way about Raizy which is fine. I don't follow her or buy her books
I just don't understand why you are screaming at people with such venom and anger.

I don't think it's bitter or jealous to state the facts.
She is a businesswoman first and foremost. This book is another way to make money.
I don't find her intriguing or anything special so I have no need to buy the book or follow her.
In today's world "authentic" is what sells and is it's own form of marketing as well. Faux vulnerability and authenticity really rubs me the wrong way.

Why do you care that I don't find women sincere, going public on social media trying to sell me their story?

This thread is asking if her book is worth buying.
There was another thread where people signed up for a frum series every month (I can't remember which one) and were disappointed they wasted money.
If people can afford buying her books, then they do so without thinking.
If money is tight, (like that poster that couldnt buy snacks for her kids) maybe it's worth remembering that this is marketing at its best.

And no I don't envy Raizy one bit. Not her looks, personality, lifestyle, nothing..Lol

I promise you that I only learned who she was from this thread. I have nothing to win by saying this but I think the bolded is rude...

How is that rude? I love my best friend and she’s gorgeous and wealthy but I’m not jealous of it at all. I don’t begrudge her any of it. It’s part of what makes her the incredible person that she is

It's personal and maybe not so nice. I don't envy her either but wouldn't say it that way.

Why is it rude? I said she is a businesswomen, and you tell me it's loshon hora and I'm jealous. I literally am not jealous of one thing about her.

She is talented and good for her she is making money this way. But please don't tell me I envy this lifestyle.

In general, I dislike calling people jealous in an effort to shut down conversation. It's low and often baseless. Also, doesn't make the other side look good.

That's kind of a disgusting thing to say about someone. That's quite below the belt. Wow

I personally wont be buying her book because reading about someone elses life just doesn't interest me but I'm sure its well written and an interesting book.
However I must add that Im not on social media at all other then the fact that I'm into good food and recipes so years ago I joined her status and enjoyed when she posted recipes. That changed as she evolved into other business platforms and then I just could not relate anymore.
It's hard to follow and relate to someone that only posts perfection, house always sparkling, dressed well each day, perfect family image when we all know that's not her realistic life.
It would be a lot easier to follow if she showed the real side of life, messy house, dishes in the sink, laundry, kvetchy kids ect.
She does have a lot of talent and I wish her well, I truly believe she is a good person with good intentions.

She adressed this in her interview with Frieda Vizel on YouTube!

I thought it was interesting--she said that she doesn't want to see the messy, uninspiring side of people's lives, so that's not what she herself shows. I think it's also a very Chasidish take, since those communities really value being put together and putting your best foot forward in public.

I find the messy normal real life side of people's life, inspiring actually. I find the best foot forward a bit pretentious to be honest, but I am not her crowd.

There are some influencers that post cooking videos, their kitchen is messy & dirty, everything is flying. It actually disgusts me, especially the one's that cook for others or sell their food.

It's about having some self dignity. Not everyone buys into the authentic, raw display of messy life. (which is btw another marketing ploy. Don't worry, plenty influencers curate just the right type and amount of mess to portray...)
I don't poop in public. She doesn't air her mess in public. Everyone has a right to put their best self forward. She's not here to convince you that this is her life all the time. She constantly says it that she also has messy moments, she just chooses not to expose it. Whether for her own dignity or for those of her family members.

Yea these people come and say what Raizy SHOULD show.
Would they ever show themselves in an unflattering way in front of 50K people? Never.

Another thing I don't get is this. Raizy has done pretty innovative work for our Frum world , not just with her books, but her Inspired Living platform that has been going strog for a while now. Why knock it? There are so few voices in our Frum world. Don't you want any leaders and role models for your girls? Finally someone has the confidence and guts to put herself out there, we should only support that (or stay quiet if you feel really horrible inside and can't say something nice) ! Are all these haters doing this or something similar for the Klal? Let someone do it. We need this for our community.

I watch her wats app status. That is all.

But very often she is honest. Says you only see what she shows. She can only do this bec she has lots of help including household help. Otherwise she couldn’t do it. She doesn’t pretend like she does it all.

Also any lifestyle brand is like this. Take Martha Stewart. It’s all a show.

(And no I’m not raizy. I’m prob not her target audience and I’m not going to read her book but I never understand this attitude of women pulling down other women rather then celebrating their successes).
