wow Sara I don't think I've ever met anyone with that problem before. Do you have any tricks to help you before you totally lose control?

Hello?! When I want chocalate, I want CHOCLATE! I don't want to distract myself. So I never buy choclate for the house but if I really, really want one I'll go out and buy one bar, then it doesn't backfire and I end up eating 100.

you know, chocolate is not so bad.
It's actually good foryour heart & it also is the best nosh for your teeth - it doesn't get stuck, it melts off.

So, I always have a bar of chocolate to munch on.

I think exersise, no junky meals between snack (whops, no jusnky snacks between meals), not eating at night and drinking, drinking, drinking!!!

But I ahve no craving for the junk food - that's exactly what it is - JUNK!!!
However, there are a few types of sweets I like a lot, so we buy them once in a while.

Another solution is to bake your own cakes & use whole wheat flour & honey. Calories, but of higher quality.

I'm with foreveryoung - don't make me choose between my steak and chocolate. I am just consuming a chunk of smoked turkey as I type - I couldn't help myself. So far I have stayed away from the chocolate chips for 6 days - I am so proud of myself.

My DH watched on TLC (the learning channel) that gum is made with plastic. That is why it is so chewy. I thought it was gross.

I have definitly been desperate enuf to eat a lot of chocolate chips, until my nurtitionist measered out a teaspoon of chocolate chips and told me how many calories it had. It scared me!
My favore nosh (back to the original question) is SugarFree Ice pops.
They are made with Splenda so they taist really good. They are the kind in the little plastics that we used to get in camp. It's called flavorIce Light.
THEY ARE YUMMY!!!! I can go through boxes a day. It satisfies my craving for sweet & cold with out any colories.
Hey if anyone like the greens, I'll trade you any day for the reds!
PS rice cakes are VERY bad for blood sugar. It's a blood sugar dump and will just make you crave carbs later.
