Thx

Make sure the oil is very hot before you start. You can test the oil by dropping one nugget in to test and see if it sizzles.
For your answer, just a few minutes on each side. Wait until each size is slighty brown before flipping. Maybe 3 minutes per side?

Oops, if you're deep frying you don't have to flip.
5-6 minutes should prob do it. Check after five minutes to see if the the nuggets are slightly browned, before removing.

When I did it fro 5 minutes they seemed a little pink inside. Is there a rule to deep fry for at least a certain amount of minutes to make sure it's not raw?

I just looked up a deep fried chicken nugget recipe online and it says to heat the oil over a flame of 350' and then to fry for 4-5 minutes.
I guess make sure your oil is hot enough.
But it's all about personal tastes. If you like it more well done, go for it.
I like my steaks medium-well, my husband likes his very well done.
I like chicken baked for an hour and a half, dh loves it when I bake the chicken for 2 and half hours
Any experts on deep frying out there to give happytobeme her answer?
