If you recall the fish Mali serves it looks SOO good and I typically don't even like fish. Do you know what the recipe might be? I don't know fish well enough to know 8)

It was in some kind of red sauce in a big pot. When scorpio says "bless those hands" to Mali..DH is begging for this recipe

Dunno 'bout the fish, the "citron" flavored salad sure was tantalizing....I still shudder when I remember how the dh reacted to THAT one!!!!

If it's in a red sauce it probably is morroccan fish. I have a good recipe but I have to go look for it. PM me if you are interested and I'll try to type it up tomorrow.

Google "Jewish Moroccan Fish Recipe" and you'll get lots of hits. I don't have an exact recipe, but it's firm white fish with lots of paprika, garlic and cilantro. If you like it hot, you add peppers.
This one is similar to what I make, except I slice potatoes thin and put them in the bottom of the pan (the way I learned it in Israel) and use more paprika.

I recall there was one line where Mali tells what kind of fish that was... My memory is vague and I only watched with English subtitle but I thought it could have been sea bass (or it could have been snapper). Rings a bell as some fish that's rather pricey but good.

No there was one before that which I was speaking of. It's when the guests first arrived. It was in a huge pot.
