We're having a bit more of a crowd than usual (usually it's just me and DH) this week, Friday night is 9 adults and 8 kids, Shabbos lunch is 11 adults and 12 kids, so we've just planned the menus.
Friday night:
Homemade challah
Teriyaki salmon
Israeli salad
Cole slaw
Tossed salad
Chicken soup with lokshen and knaidlach
Sesame chicken
Sweet french roast
Turkey roll up in puff pastry with mushroom sauce
Doughless potato knish
Carrot kugel
Zucchini-kiskha kugel
Garlic green beans
Blueberry cobbler
Shabbos lunch:
Homemade challah
Gefilte fish
Israeli salad
Cole slaw
Tossed salad
Chopped liver
Cholent
Sliced meat from cholent
Assorted deli meats
Kishka
Potato kugel
Started kugels from Friday night
Raspbery-applesauce jello
Dessert (unknown yet to me; to be provided by a DD)
I have some of it in the freezer and various DDs are providing assorted items. Since I'm not used to bigger crowds anymore, I have started cooking today with whatever can be done in advance.

I've seen many versions of the zucchini-kishka kugel, and I think one is in one of the famous cookbooks, but this is the one I have:
Kishka Layer
2 carrots
1 potato
1 onion
¾ cup oil
2 tablespoons ketchup
1 teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon baking powder
dash black pepper
1 ½ cups flour
Pre-heat oven to 350 degrees. Blend everything except flour. Mix in flour. Pour into greased 9 x 13 pan and bake for 30 minutes.
Squash Layer
2 lbs. zucchini
1 onion
1 tablespoon oil
2 tablespoons mayonnaise
4 eggs
½ cup matza meal
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon garlic powder
dash black pepper
2 cups cornflake crumbs
(optional – use ½ packet onion soup mix instead of onion and oil)
Slice zucchini and cook in a little water until medium soft (about 10-15 minutes). Drain and mash. Saute onion in oil until slightly browned and mix with squash. Mix in everything else except cornflake crumbs. Pour over kishka layer and sprinkle cornflake crumbs over top. Bake for 1 hour at 350 degrees.
Freezes well. May be made in individual muffin tins.

We might be going away for shabbos...yay!!
OOTBubby, that still is a lot of food even with so many people. Do you make enough of each, just in case everyone wants a little of each?

No, since this is all family, I have a very good idea of who will eat what. Most things are made in quantities less than the number of people as I know not everyone will take everything. And that way they all have a choice.
