Hey,
I need a recipe that is good for shaping the cookie dough. The regular choc. chip cookies recipe is too liquidy for that. Anyone??

Spice and spirit has a good basic cookie dough very pliable and molds well into cookie cutters.

Hey, I also need a cookie recipe! I want the kind that can be refrigerated or frozen in logs and sliced and baked. I don't own the Spice & Spirit (I accept donations! )

this is from kosher by design-kids in the kitchen
8 tb (1stick) margarine
2 cups flour
2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1 cup sugar
1 large egg
2 tb orange juice
1 tsp vanilla extract
I haven't used it but sounds basic enough. I'm not writing out instructions b/c I figure u know what to do but if you need...

Just do a google search for "recipe for sugar cookie dough" and you should get at least a hundred to choose from.
Or go to AurasKitchen, she has some that are not so unhealthy. I made the one with coconut in it and we enjoyed it.

My daughter made the one on the lid of the Quaker Old Fashioned Oats container. It was surprisingly good.
