"Eating peanut butter while breastfeeding"

It might be difficult to eat a peanut butter sandwich while breasteeding, perhaps you should feed the baby first and then eat the sandwich?

yes, right. Last time when I was in my ninth month someone called me up and asked if I could keep her in mind during labor. Sure, gladly. But when it came l'maiseh I totally forgot about her, forgot about the whole world! I was totally engrossed in myself and my pain embarrassed

. I felt really bad when I reminded myself much later.

Once, my midwife told me to stop pushing just when the baby was about to come out. She gave me her daughter's name to daven for. I did. She had a baby that year after years of infertility. Heck, imagine how many women in labor davened for her with her mom being a midwife...

Another time I davened for a woman from work while I was in labor. This was a woman who was married for the second time to a man much younger than her. She was in her very late 30's and secular. I davened. She had twins that year.

I thought the epidural was even harder...couldn't push...

I do daven during contractions, but pushing is tough for me...maybe it would be easier if I davened for people while pushing. Good idea Chossidmom
