Im having Friday Night

Gefilte Fish-even though im syrian! (my whole family teases me! But im hooked!)
Fish Balls in a madbucha sauce kinda thing
Chicken soup with matza balls
Chicken and potatoes
Chokee- Artichokes and meat
Rice
Eggplant salad with peppers

Lunch

Maza(Kibbeh, Lachmagene,Sambousak)
Tehine
maybe bazergan
potato salad
Cholent

Dont know what else I guess well see what im in the mood of tomorrow...!

We're having different guests for friday night and shabbat day (our original guests bailed out)
Fri. night:
grape juice
50% whole weat challah baked by DH
Onion soup in bread bowls (they came out great just like in resturants, but a bit small DH is a very talented baker)
salmon of some sort (I'd like good ideas)
mushroom lasgna
roasted sweet potatoes with rosemary and garlic
maybe rice with Pereg seasoning (I think I have almonds, onions, and craisons)
a salad (I think I'll ask my guest to bring salad)
for desert we will have a cream crumb cake

shabbat day:
chopped liver
doritos salad
cholent (again one of DH's specialties)
some kind of chicken
couscous w/ sauteed veggies
and a kugal I have in the freezer (either onion or spinage noodle)
for dessert apple crisp and store bought pareve ice cream

seuda shilishit:
salads and cheeses

Homemade challa
gefilte fish patties in duck sauce
oriental pasta salad
tossed salad
some other salad
cashew chicken
brown rice w/ mushrooms and onions
veggies of some sort

Chocolate bundt cake with sorbet

I just dump mayo, dried dill (lots), garlic powder, lemon juice, water and salt in a jar and mix. I add water/lemon as needed. Everyone seems to love it here!

homemade challah (from the freezer)
homemade babaganush
dill dip (thanks pinktichel)
matzah ball soup with vegetables
cous cous (served with veggies from the soup)
green bean salad (thanks cookielady)
chicken over vegetables
potato kugel (bought!)


shabbos day:
challah
dips
corn and bean salad
potato salad
coleslaw
cholent
chicken


ill have to motivate myself to go and make dessert now...

Tri-colored vegie kugel

mini cinnamon buns
chocolate cookies and cream trifle
brownie/fluff/pb choc rice krispie thingie (cookielady)

Friday night:
Same first course as day meal

I have a lot going on this week so it's a bare bones, easy Shabbos

Bought rolls
Wine; whatever we have

Smoked chubs from the grocery store
Chick pea salad from shopaholic

Baked chicken
Oven rice with mushrooms

Bought kokosh cake or whatever else looks good

Breakfast for Dinner:

Breakfast gazpacho
Buttermilk pancakes with maple apples
Winter frittata with goat cheese, red chard, red potatoes and sundried tomatoes
Not sure about dessert (we've been eating leftover brownies and chocolate chip cookies all week, so I feel like skipping, but we'll see)
