Tell you what. Friday night, we'll have cheese sandwiches and on Saturday we'll have PB+J. I'm zoinked.

If I am finished before Shabbos, it will be Chanukah miracle!

Home baked challa
gefilte fish
carrot salad
roasted red pepper salad
chick pea edamame salad
cous cous salad
chicken soup/knaidlach
roast (most of kids are home, and boys love it!)
potato kugel
spinach kugel
grilled vegetables

choc deluxe marshmallow bars
something else, must figure it out

Bought plain challah rolls

gef fish prev frozen and heated up in tomato sauce (shh, don't tell anyone !)
fried fish on blech for dd
Mushroom salad from Pupa cookbook
Carrot dip from Spark people

Mustard chicken with poppy seeds from Italian cookboook that DD bought me with her own money
Sweet potato casserole from Spark people

Banana bread from purple Lub cookbook
Low fat choc cookies from Spark people

So a little bit late but this is what we had:
DH baked challah for the first time in a while (he was all excited over the new Kenwood mixer he got himslef ummm us), so we had that
sweat and sour meatballs and salatim
chicken soup (actually turkey soup, but whatever)
a chicken stir fry with veg.
couscous
roasted potatos and sweat potatos with garlic and olive oil
for dessert we had store bought but ever so good choc. coated strawberry tofu ice cream bars (Reo brand for all you Israelis looking for good pareve ice cream).

I'm off tomorrow so I'm doig the shopping and cooking then.

Wine, whatever we have
Bought challah rolls

Sweet gef fish loaf, plain boiled
Salad - not sure yet

Chicken, marinated in garlic and lime that DD likes; from a cookbook she bought me with her own money

Roasted red potatoes - new recipe from Spark people

Brownie cookies (semi low fat) - new recipe from Spark people

Low fat oreo cake - new recipe from Spark people

can you post the homemade tortilla chip recipe? I make guacamole a lot but don't love the very salty store bought chips.

Take corn or wheat tortillias, cut into eighths. Lightly brush with olive oil on both sides and sprinkle with salt and any seasonings desired. Bake at 375 for 10 minutes, flipping them over after 5.
